Special Note:

The above is the complete scanner list of Police, Fire and EMS frequencies used daily in Pike County.

If you search the internet, you will find dozens of other frequencies, but they aren't listed here.
The reason is simple:
It's not because we want to keep them secret, its because they are used for mobile-to-repeater-only traffic or inter-site data communications. You will never hear anything interesting or useful that you can't hear clearly on one of the above. You can put those other FCC authorized frequencies  in your scanner and probably never anything on them. If you do hear a voice, it will be the nasty, scratchy garble of a distant radio your scanner can barely hear The very same voice will be crystal-clear on one of the above listed frequencies. You're welcome to try, but good luck.

Also, don't go listening to any of the frequencies we purposely haven't listed here hoping to find the super-secret covert police channel 7.
You won't find anything useful. We know, we built it for them.
We will tell you it is very secure because:
1) "Channel 7" is not one channel, and randomly hops from one frequency to another,
2) it employs super-narrow 6.26 KHz  digital  burst modulation (not the same as 12.5 KHz P-25), so chances are that anything less than a $2,000 scanner rig will reject it as background noise,
3) transmits using a "just-enough" power limiting system,
4) it employs a rolling digital encryption key that even we can't duplicate, and
5) uses a codec that scrambles the bits so much the NSA's super computers would take hours to brute-force decode.

Secure?

Yep.
