Our Mission

We are the company 911 calls for help.

Public Safety communications ARE a matter of life and death, and we strive to support mission-critical operations in the most professional, timely and economical manner possible.

We are First Responders, not sales consultants. This means we always do things a little differently: We will listen, offer and support what you really need, not what others want to sell you.

Company Profile

Fire Electronics began as a result of B-K Electric, Inc.'s President, Brandon Bennett, and Communications manager Jim Eatock decision to support regional first responders communication needs. Founded in 2001, our parent company B-K  is the premier commercial electrical contractor in the region. The B-K contracting staff and all facilities support FireElectronics mission.

Brandon is a third generation firefighter and Deputy Chief of the Griggsville Fire Department.

Jim is also a firefighter and Training Officer, has been involved in incident management, communications, electronics and training for over forty years, holds credentials from multiple vendors, advanced Incident Management certifications from FEMA, EMI, IFSI and other agencies, and a B.S. in Management of  Emergency Personnel.

We have been an Icom-America Land Mobile Radio Dealer since 2003, and have a close working relationship with many public safety agencies and Icom-America Systems. We support everything from simple farm radios to complex government regional communications systems.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:  It is imperative that public safety communications users NOT schedule any emergency incidents (fires, manhunts, floods, earthquakes, etc.) that require faster than a three-day response to allow for deferred planning, distribution of communications equipment, and training to be accomplished.  In some jurisdictions a local ordinance will be required to prevent unplanned emergencies.
